BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Sydney, NSW and spent most of my childhood in Manly, in Sydney's Northern Beaches.  My earliest recollection of a desire to perform was at age seven, when I spontaneously stood up in front of the old mantle radio and sang The Beatles "Twist and Shout" in front of the entire family. Immediately after this performance, I lost my voice for a number of days!  I was always interested in music, particularly singing and found a number of opportunities during my school years. I was offered the lead role in the retro school production of "Oliver" and later performed in many other retro school productions, including "The Sound of Music".  I continued to follow my passion again during my teenage years, where I performed in a number of bands at the time. The style of music was the genesis of what was to become heavy metal. I sang cover versions of classics by bands such as Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple and so on. This period allowed me to develop my vocal style, versatility and power which allows me today to turn my hand to just about any style of song and deliver a formidable and memorable rendition.  I went on to work extensively in bands for many years, performing a vast variety of styles in hotels, clubs and private functions, in Sydney,Melbourne,Brisbane,Perth and Adelaide.
